As you can tell from the photo above, I grew up in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. #crimpedhairdontcare I lived quite a charmed life in Colorado during my adolescence. My days consisted of watching NickToons, eating sugary breakfast cereals, alternating between playing outside and gaming on the latest Nintendo system, writing notes to my friends (on notebook paper, duh?), watching the TGIF lineup and every other typical pastime you can think of from that era. I am now a grown-up, living in Florida with my husband and our cute pup, Apollo. While I absolutely adore my life now, there are a myriad of things I miss from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s and STILL love reminiscing about – which is why I created this blog.
Miss Reminisce is dedicated to the generation of adults who spent some of the best years of their lives growing up in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Here, we’ll share our most fondest memories, stay up-to-date on our favorite things from yesteryear and offer ways to relive the good ol’ days today. So, put on your Jelly sandals or Reebok Pump sneakers because we are taking a walk down memory lane, my friend.
While this is my first blog, I am no stranger to blogging. I recently wrote freelance for other blogs as a hobby and side-gig. While it allows for great writing practice, you don’t get to choose what you write about. #bummerdude Well, now I’m choosing. And I choose to reminisce with you! Plus, I have an excellent memory and tend to keep a lot of items from the past (I’m a bit of a pack rat).
Take gander at the site. Poke around a bit. You’ll find blog posts by category, links to social media so we can stay connected and much more. So happy you’re here! Oh, and don’t forget to join the Miss Reminisce community by subscribing to our email list. You’ll get the latest updates and sneak peeks of upcoming posts.
If you’re still rocking Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers, sucking on an Ecto-Cooler Hi-C juice box, or secretly hoping Starter jackets will make a come back, then this is the place for you. Looking forward to sharing some totally tubular memories together!
